Operation Arrow in 2017

After a record-setting national conference in 2015, the Order of the Arrow will again seek to make history with Operation Arrow at the 2017 National Jamboree.

To continue a tradition that dates back to the 1950 National Scout Jamboree, over 750 youth Arrowmen will answer the call to serve as part of Operation Arrow - the largest jamboree staff team ever assembled by the Order of the Arrow!

Operation Arrow staff members will support the jamboree program by joining one of three primary OA program areas: the Service Corps, the Trek Guides and the Indian Village.

Winter Camp is only a few months away, so grab your coat and bring your laugh, because this year’s Winter Camp is all about fun! Come on over to Boxwell and enjoy yourself at Boxwell Under the Big Top!

“What is Winter Camp?” Winter Camp is a week long, youth run, campout all about fun located at Middle Tennessee Council’s very own Boxwell Reservation! Order of The Arrow members have the opportunity to help their fellow scouts earn merit badges and have the time of their lives! There are several different teams that are formed to make Winter Camp a huge success in which ALL OA members can participate. You can work in Evening Program where you can plan and perform in two huge campfires that bring the ENTIRE camp out! If you are interested in being a part of a team that plans activities where Scouts can compete and win prizes (maybe even play yourself), Afternoon Activitiesis the team for you.

latimer promoI am sure everyone has been to Winter Camp at Boxwell Scout Reservation. But have you been to Winter Camp at Latimer High Adventire Reservation? Same time, different place, different experience. Here is what Daylen Fisher the Latimer Winter Camp chairman has to say.........
Winter camp is always full of fun especially at Latimer! Come on out and join us in our winter fun with the chance to win the grand prize after many events which might include but aren't limited to: cold weather fire building, basketball, lashing competition, orienteering course, and maybe a geocaching course. Get your sleeping bags, socks, and scout spirit together and I'll see you at winter camp at Latimer.

Fall Fellowship 2016 Photos

Fall Fellowship turned out to be a GREAT weekend. The rain could not keep the fun away since we were playing water slide kickball and giant water pong anyway. Congradulations to all of the Vigil Honor receipents and the 2017 Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge leadership elected at Fall Fellowship. Here are the photos form the weekend.

 

Winter Banquet

winter banquetWinter Banquet is the lodge event where we share a meal together and recognize all of the hard work and dedication of our Lodge members. It is also where we inaugurate our new lodge officers and chapter officers for 2017. Come join us Saturday December 3rd 6:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church 4815 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220. Parents, spouses and siblings are all welcome to share in the celebration.
