Founders Award Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge is pleased to announce that the “Lifetime Flying Eagle Award” has been renamed in honor of its first recipient, Mr. Howard B. Olson. Mr. Olson is a former Lodge Adviser, Section Adviser and all-around Elder Statesman of the Lodge. The first recipient of the rechristened Howard B. Olson Lifetime Achievement Award is former Lodge Adviser Chris Snoddy. Mr. Snoddy has been a mainstay of the lodge since first becoming an Arrowman as a youth in 1974. He has served as a Lodge Officer, Section Chief, Lodge Adviser, and most recently a counselor and mentor to many of his successors as Lodge Adviser. Chris Snoddy’s previous lodge recognitions include: the Vigil Honor, the first adult recipient of the Founder’s Award in the lodge, the James E. West Fellowship, the Flying Eagle Award, the Allogagon Award and the Josh Sain Memorial Award. |
