Dr Goodman, the founder of our Order, once said “Infinity, dear brothers, extends not only outwards but inwards to the heart of each human being.”   What does this say to us?   Our lodge is at a great time in the year but many of you may not see it as a very busy time.  We are preparing to say thank you to many special Arrowmen that have made this a wonderful year. The 2010 officers are hard at work planning for next year.

So what does this Infinity mean to us?  Lets look at some of the things that we looked to infinity and asked our youth to meet the challenge.  We have had the largest attendance at a NOAC that was not in Tennessee.  Our lodge inducted 400 new members.  We sent service Crews to all 4 Cub and family weekends.

These are some of the things that we have done but we should never rest on our foundations.  Where will we go from here?  Well next year we have a great chance to test ourselves, We get the chance to host conclave.  We will need to have 250-300 Arrowmen there in April to help serve.  This is always a great way to test.

This is a way to test ourselves as a lodge but we always need to test ourselves as individuals.  Where can we grow as people and what can we do better to be better leaders.  This should be a constant question for all of us.  So now as we start planning and developing our plans for next year, take some time to develop your own personal goals in the lodge.  In these plans make sure you look for the infinity within your own heart and allow for your own growth as a person and a leader.

Always trying to improve myself,
