Hello my name is TJ Luckett and I will be serving as your 2013 Lodge Chief. I am an Eagle Scout from Troop 1204 in Old Hickory, TN.  I am currently attending the University of Kentucky as a Sophomore studying Mining Engineering. I previously served as Vice Chief of Service where I planned, organized, and ran both the Spring and Fall Ordeal. I am looking forward to another successful year as our Lodge celebrates its 75th Anniversary.

Brothers,It is hard to believe that this year is already half gone! However, our work has only just begun. We must continue through the rest of the year carrying on the exemplary name that the Wa-Hi-Nasa has made for itself, whether it be right here in the Middle Tennessee Council or across the nation.
For those who did not attend NOAC this year, the theme was “United, We Leave a Legacy”. As a lodge, we are leaving a legacy. One which was formed many years ago. The question we need to continually need to ask ourselves is, “Are we continuing to leave a legacy that represents who we are - a brotherhood of cheerful service?” I believe

Hello my name is Hunter Jones and I will be serv-ing you as your 2012 Lodge Chief. I am a Life Scout from Troop 405 in Lafayette, Tennessee. This past year I served as your Lodge Secre-tary and Atohuna Chapter Chief. I am cur-rently a sophomore at Macon County High School where I am active in Student Government, MCHS Trap Team, and multiple other clubs. I look forward to serving each of you in 2012.

Dear Brothers,

The year has just begun, yet already we are starting off on a good note. Winter Banquet and Winter Camp were a huge success! I would like to thank the Winter Camp staff for making this year’s one of the best there has been. We could not have done it without you!

Even though 2012 has only just begun, the officers have been working diligently to make this one of the best ever seen! With OAU behind us, Conclave is just around the corner. This year’s SR-6 Conclave is conveniently located at Skymont Scout Reservation in Altamont, Tennessee. I hope to see everyone come out for one of the best weekends of the year and support us as we yet again compete in the Quest for the Golden Arrow.

At Winter Banquet, I stated that we would like to use an acronym for the year which was “Wa-Hi-Nasa R.O.C.K.S.” with R.O.C.K.S. standing for “Reaching Out with Cheerful Knowledge and Service.” This will be playing a key part in the Lodge for the year. A slightly different atmosphere will be seen in our events as we bring back some of the old and reinvigorate with some new.

I hope to see everyone at the SR-6 Conclave. Also, be sure to check both the Wa-Hi-Nasa webpage at www.wa-hi-nasa.org and Wa-Hi-Nasa Unitedon Facebook for the latest information on events.

     Yours in Cheerful Service,

     Hunter Jones
